【摘要】:ThisPartofBS4581specifiestheprincipaldimensionsofflangesformountinggrindingwheelsoflessthan76.2mmboreongrindingmachinetools.TheflangesareprimarilyintendedforusewithgrindingwheelsselectedfromBS4481:Part2aslistedintable1butcriteriafortheuseofothergrindingwheelsaregiveninappendixA.Require-mentsformaterialsarealsospecified.Theflangesareintendedforusewithplainwheelsforexternalcylindricalgrinding,plainwheelsforsurfacegrinding,grindingwheelsfortoolandcuttergrinding,includingplainwheels,straightcupwheels,tapercupwheelsanddishwheels,andgrindingwheelsforcuttingoff.ThisPartofthisstandardisnotapplicabletothemountingofwheelsonhand-heldmachinesnortothemountingofwheelsonbenchgrinders.NOTE.Thetitlesofthepublicationsreferredtointhisstandardarelistedontheinsidebackcover.
