【摘要】:Thistestmethodallowsforthemeasurementofthetorqueretentionpropertiesofcontainer/continuousthreadclosuresystemsofvariousdesigns,materials,andmanufacture,andissuitableforpackagingdevelopmentandengineeringevaluation.Thistestmethodcanbeusedfortheevaluationofcontainer/continuousthreadclosuresystemsundercontrolledconditions(wheretheapplicationtorqueisknownandtheapplieddownwardforcetotheclosureiszero).1.1Thesetestmethodsevaluatethetorqueretentionofcontinuousthreadclosuresoncontainers,withmatchingfinishes,forpredeterminedenvironmentalconditionsovertime.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
