【摘要】:1.1ThisclassificationsystemcoversonlyABSmaterialsandABSalloyssuitableforinjectionmoldingandextrusion.Someofthesecompositionsmayalsobesuitableforcompressionmolding.RecycleABSandalloyswillbeaddressedinaseparatestandard.1.2Thisclassificationsystemisnotintendedfortheselectionofmaterials,butonlyasameansofcallingoutmaterialstobeusedinthemanufactureofparts.Materialsaretobeselectedbypersonnelwithexpertiseintheplasticsfieldwheretheeconomics,theenvironmenttobeencountered,theinherentpropertiesofthematerials,thepartdesign,thepartperformancerequired,andthemanufacturingprocesstobeemployedallenterintotheselection.1.3Thepropertiesincludedinthisclassificationsystemarethoserequiredtoidentifythecompositionscovered.Theremaybeotherrequirementsnecessarytoidentifyparticularcharacteristicsimportanttospecializedapplications.ThesewillbeagreeduponbetweentheuserandthesupplierbyusingthesuffixesgiveninSection5.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.5Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section12,ofthisclassificationsystem:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;ThisclassificationsystemandISO2580aretechnicallyequivalentforthosetestscontainedinbothstandards.
