【摘要】:Theproceduresforthedeterminationofpropertiesofsingle-filamenthosereinforcingwiremadefromsteelareconsideredsatisfactoryforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipmentsofthisproductbecausetheproceduresarethebestavailableandhavebeenusedextensivelyinthetrade.Inthecaseofadisputearisingfromdifferencesinreportedtestresultswhenusingthesetestmethodsforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipments,thepurchaserandsuppliershouldconductcomparativeteststodetermineifthereisastatisticalbiasbetweentheirlaboratories.Competentstatisticalassistanceisrecommendedforinvestigationofbias.Asaminimum,twopartiesshouldtakeagroupoftestspecimenswhichareashomogeneousaspossibleandwhicharefromalotofmaterialofthetypeinquestion.Thetestspecimensthenshouldberandomlyassignedinequalnumberstoeachlaboratoryfortesting.Theaverageresultsfromthetwolaboratoriesshouldbecomparedbyusinganappropriatestatisticaltestandanacceptableprobabilitylevelchosenbythetwopartiesbeforetestingisbegun.Ifabiasisfound,eitheritscausemustbedeterminedandcorrectedorthepurchaserandsuppliermustagreetointerpretfuturetestresultswithconsiderationtotheknownbias.1.1Thesetestmethodscovertestingofsinglefilamentsteelwiresthatareusedtoreinforcehoseproducts.Byagreement,thesetestmethodsmaybeappliedtosimilarfilamentsusedforreinforcingotherrubberproducts.1.2Thesetestmethodsdescribetestproceduresonlyanddonotestablishspecificationsortolerances.
